The Nationwide Drug Regulation Enforcement Company has arrested a Europe-bound suspect after he was caught making an attempt to export cocaine hid in sandals.
The suspect, whose id has not been disclosed but, was carrying sandals containing the hid medication.
The company’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, shared movies of the seized contraband on X com on Sunday.
Sharing the movies he wrote, “God is just not mocked! You’re carrying a material promoting God in your journey to Europe however you’re concealing cocaine price hundreds of thousands within the sandals you’re carrying beneath.
“The temerity! The audacity! Video reveals second #ndlea_nigeria officers found this on the Lagos airport.”
