On 8 July, UN Girls launched a brand new mission entitled “Selling the socio-economic restoration and resilience of internally displaced and repatriated ladies and women in Northern Mozambique”, within the province of Cabo Delgado, northern Mozambique in partnership with the Northern Built-in Improvement Company (ADIN) and the Korea Worldwide Cooperation Company (KOICA).
H.E. António Njanje Taímo Supeia – Secretary of State for the Province of Cabo Delgado presided over the launch ceremony and gave the opening speech. In the course of the ceremony, he formally handed over gear price round 9 million meticais, given by UN Girls to the Division for Help to Households and Minors Victims of Violence as a method of guaranteeing institutional strengthening for the safety of ladies and women.

UN Girls has been a significant associate of KOICA in creating and implementing insurance policies and interventions aimed toward creating optimistic social change and selling ladies’s empowerment. This new funding settlement between UN Girls and KOICA marks a major step in selling gender-sensitive humanitarian motion and the reconstruction of Cabo Delgado.
