President Bola Tinubu and his spouse, Oluremi, have departed Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, after collaborating within the 2024 G-20 leaders’ summit.
In the course of the summit, held from Monday, November 18, to Tuesday, November 19, 2024, Tinubu engaged in bilateral discussions to advance Nigeria’s socio-economic reforms.
The G20 summit, hosted by Brazilian President Lula da Silva, targeted on the theme, “Constructing a Simply World and a Sustainable Planet.” Discussions addressed sustainable growth in financial, social, and environmental dimensions, international governance reforms, local weather change, and the digital financial system.
The assembly introduced collectively leaders from the world’s high 20 economies, together with the European Union, the African Union, and multilateral monetary establishments, amongst others.
The G20 includes 19 member nations, together with Argentina, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Republic of Korea, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Türkiye, the UK, and the US, together with the European Union.

Tinubu was accompanied by high authorities officers, together with the Minister of Overseas Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar; Ministers of Livestock Improvement, Idi Maiha; Minster of Artwork, Tourism, Tradition and Creativity, Hannatu Musawa; Minister of State for Agriculture and Meals Safety, Dr. Aliyu Abdullahi; and the Director Common of the Nationwide Intelligence Company, Mohammed Mohammed.
