The Lagos State Emergency Administration Company on Thursday confirmed the dying of three website staff on a constructing that collapsed at Arowojobe Property within the Maryland space of the state.
The company’s Everlasting Secretary, Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, confirmed this in a press release made obtainable to the Information Company of Nigeria.
He stated the incident occurred at No 13, Wilson Mba Road, Arowojobe Property, Maryland, Lagos.
He stated that the three males who have been recovered lifeless on the constructing have been website staff.
“The company acquired a misery name relating to a collapsed constructing on the above deal with at about 3.49am.
“This prompted the instant activation of the company’s response crew to the incident scene at 3.58am.
“It was found {that a} set of three terraces below development had collapsed.
“Search and rescue operations started instantly and three grownup males have been recovered lifeless, two male adults have been rescued alive and one grownup male trapped below the rubble was rescued,” he stated.
He added that the rescued ones have been carried out via the efforts of LASEMA and the Lagos State Hearth Service.
“All of the six males have been website staff.
“They’re receiving pre-hospital care on location whereas the State Environmental Well being Monitoring Unit has been contacted for the stays of the three fatalities.
“A mixed crew of company personnel, fireplace service and Nigeria Police are working on the scene.
“LASEMA’s excavator has been deployed to speed up the search and rescue operations,” he stated.
