His Excellency President Dr Julius Maada Bio has joined the household, social gathering members and distinguished residents for the Laying Out Ceremony of the late Alhaji Dr Sheik-Umarr Minkalu Jah, former Deputy Nationwide Chairman of the Sierra Leone Folks’s Social gathering (SLPP).
Through the ceremony, which befell on the SLPP Headquarters on Wallace Johnson Road in Freetown on Wednesday 28 August 2024, President Bio, who can also be the Chief of the social gathering, mirrored on the lifetime of the late Dr. Jah, honouring him as a person of nice character who had devoted his life to serving Sierra Leone, the Bo College, and the SLPP with distinction.
Accompanied by the social gathering’s Deputy Chief, Vice President Dr Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, the President used the event to thank the late Dr Jah’s spouse for her unwavering care and assist and praised him for his contributions to the nation.
