The Federal Authorities delegation, led by Vice President Kashim Shettima, visited Bauchi State to convey President Bola Tinubu’s condolences to the state authorities and the folks of Bauchi over the passing of the fifteenth Emir of Ningi, Yunusa Ɗanyaya.
Talking on the Council Chamber of the Authorities Home in Bauchi on Friday, Shettima expressed President Tinubu’s shock and disappointment upon listening to the information of the monarch’s demise.
He acknowledged, “The late emir’s contributions to the event of Bauchi State and Nigeria as a complete are important.
“He performed an important position in nation-building.”
Describing the monarch as a unifying power who labored tirelessly to advertise peace, stability, and growth in Bauchi State and past, Shettima praised his dedication to schooling, healthcare, and financial growth, calling him a champion of progress and a beacon of hope for his folks.
In response, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, whereas receiving the delegation, expressed gratitude to President Tinubu and the Vice President for the condolence go to.
He famous, “The late emir was a revered chief and an emblem of unity within the state. His position in selling peace and growth made him a real chief and a father to all.
“His knowledge and steerage might be drastically missed.”
The fifteenth Emir of Ningi, Yunusa Danyaya, died on 24 August 2024, after spending 46 years on the throne. He was 88 years outdated and was buried in accordance with Islamic rites.
Following his loss of life, the Bauchi State Authorities accredited the nomination of his eldest son, Haruna Yunusa, the speedy previous Chiroman Ningi, as his successor on 1 September.
