Sam Luikens’ misguided op-ed relating to the necessity for extra bus and bike lanes (like the huge Madison Avenue undertaking) means that extra public transportation and bike-friendly site visitors revisions will forestall accidents and deaths.
The very fact is that pedestrian accidents and deaths are up as a result of pedestrians within the crosswalks are wanting down at their telephones whereas drivers are wanting down at theirs. Constructing extra bus and bike lanes received’t treatment that.
