The Newspaper Proprietors’ Affiliation of Nigeria has charged the Federal Authorities to make sure the rescue of two Kaduna-based journalists, Abdulgafar Alabelewe and AbdulRaheem Aodu, who had been kidnapped alongside their households by bandits on the weekend.
Alabelewe of The Nation newspapers and Aodu of Blueprint newspapers had been kidnapped from their houses in Dahjonu Group, Millennium Metropolis space of the Chikun Native Authorities Space of Kaduna State.
The incident was confirmed by one of many victims’ members of the family, Taofeeq Olayemi, who disclosed that bandits invaded the neighborhood round 10:30 p.m. and carried out their operation after capturing indiscriminately.
