The Edo State Police Command on Thursday confirmed the rescue of kidnapped pastor, Solomon Ativiel, in Benin, the state capital.
The command’s spokesperson, Chidi Nwabuzor, who confirmed the incident by way of a phone chat with our correspondent in Benin on Thursday, mentioned that one suspected kidnapper was killed whereas two others had been injured in the course of the rescue operation which was carried out on Tuesday.
Nwabuzor additionally mentioned that the suspects had been transferred to the state police command headquarters on Wednesday.
