Protests towards hardship and poverty, deliberate for right this moment, have began within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Lagos.
The October 1 protest, known as #FearlessInOctober, follows the #EndBadGovernance protests held in August, sparked by the financial struggles many Nigerians are going through.
As Nigeria marked its sixty fourth Independence Day Anniversary, a whole bunch of residents have taken to the streets of Abuja in a #protest tagged #FearlessInOctober, calling for an finish to unhealthy governance.

In Abuja, protesters gathered at Utako Market, holding indicators with messages similar to, “Dangerous Governance has killed the goals of Nigerian youth” and “Sufficient is Sufficient” amongst others.
“We’re shopping for gas at N1,000, and also you anticipate us to not protest? We’re hungry,” one protester stated.
In Lagos, a whole bunch of protesters gathered at Ikeja Underbridge on Tuesday morning. By 7:35 AM, there was already a powerful safety presence.
The protesters, holding placards, expressed frustration over worsening dwelling situations.
One protester, Tunde Aderibigbe, stated, “Nigerians are hungry, there aren’t any jobs, individuals are homeless, and healthcare is poor. It’s so unhealthy that basic items are actually seen as luxurious.”
Aderibigbe and others known as for higher dwelling situations and rapid reforms.
That is coming after President Bola Tinubu’s nationwide Independence Day deal with, wherein he assured residents of higher days forward and promised financial reforms to ease the hardship confronted by Nigerians.
