Former President Olusegun Obasanjo visited Ondo State Governor, Fortunate Aiyedatiwa, on the Authorities Home in Akure forward of the governorship election scheduled for Saturday, 16 November.
Aiyedatiwa, a member of the All Progressives Congress, assumed the governorship following the passing of his predecessor, Rotimi Akeredolu, in 2023 after a chronic sickness.
The go to was highlighted in photos shared on the APC’s official X account on Monday, captioned: “Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Monday paid a courtesy go to to the Governor of Ondo State, HE Fortunate Aiyedatiwa #LuckyAiyedatiwa on the Authorities Home in Akure. Forward of Saturday’s governorship election, Obasanjo wished the governor a profitable re-election.”
