Nigeria is about to learn from Germany’s bold €4bn funding in inexperienced vitality initiatives throughout Africa by 2030.
This was disclosed in a press release by the Director of Media and Company Communications on the Nationwide House Analysis and Improvement Company, Dr Felix Ale, on Tuesday.
Ale shared the insights following the German Federal Overseas Workplace H2 Diplo Examine Tour, throughout which Nigeria’s Minister of Innovation, Science, and Know-how, Chief Uche Nnaji, emphasised the strategic significance of this collaboration.

The minister added that the engagement with Germany was constructed on fruit discussions between the president and the Chancellor of Germany.
“Our engagement with Germany builds on the fruitful discussions between President Tinubu and Chancellor Olaf Scholz, which resulted in a landmark €500 million renewable vitality and gasoline deal,” Nnaji acknowledged.
Nnaji revealed that the discussions concerned key representatives from German ministries, together with the Federal Ministry of Analysis and Training and the Federal Ministry for Financial Cooperation and Improvement.
“These stakeholders are pivotal in advancing the inexperienced hydrogen initiative, a clear and renewable useful resource poised to decarbonize industries and improve vitality safety in Nigeria,” he added.
