Justin Allgaier had simply sufficient gasoline and simply sufficient velocity below the hood to win Saturday’s Cabo Wabo 250 at Michigan.
With a lot of the sector pitting on lap 62 of the 125-lap race, Allgaier pitted on lap 69, giving him seven extra laps of gasoline to work with. As lots of his rivals saved gasoline, Allgaier was in a position to drive his automobile tougher than the remainder of the sector, ultimately passing John Hunter Nemechek for second place.

Different notable finishers in Saturday’s race embody AJ Allmendinger in eleventh, Ryan Sieg in thirteenth, Shane van Gisbergen in seventeenth, Chandler Smith in twenty seventh and Riley Herbst in thirty eighth.
