A potable water venture and a newly constructed highway have been inaugurated within the Emba-Derho administrative space of the Serejeka sub-zone. The initiatives, which had been accomplished at a price of over 6 million Nakfa, had been formally inaugurated by Mr. Fesehaye Haile, Governor of the Central Area, on 10 November.
Mr. Teklit Berhe, the administrator of the realm, said that the initiatives embody the development of an 11 km dust highway connecting the executive space to the Asmara-Keren important highway. The potable water venture options the digging of water wells and the development of 14 water distribution facilities.
Highlighting the significance of potable water entry and highway infrastructure for socio-economic growth, Mr. Kiflemariam Gebremeskel, administrator of the Serejeka sub-zone, praised the residents for his or her proactive involvement within the initiatives.
The residents, understanding the affect of those initiatives on bettering their livelihoods, pledged to conduct common follow-ups to make sure the initiatives’ sustainability.
The Emba-Derho administrative space is positioned 12 km north of Asmara.
