SINGAPORE: The Perseids – an annual meteor bathe recognized for its shiny and good streaks – dazzled throughout the globe because it reached its peak.
It is among the most simply seen showers, lively between mid-July and late August.
Though skygazers captured the cosmic show from numerous cities, observers in Singapore have been left a bit of dissatisfied with some citing cloudy or shiny situations.
This 12 months, it was set to peak over the island between Sunday (Aug 11) and Tuesday morning, with the most effective commentary instances between 3am and 6am, in response to native Fb group Stargazing Singapore.
For those who missed this spherical, look out for the Geminids on the finish of the 12 months, peaking on the evening between Dec 13 and Dec 14.
Simpler to identify would be the first supermoon of the 12 months on Aug 20.
