Talking on the inauguration of the steering committee on the implementation and execution of the annual IG convention on juvenile crime prevention and management challenge in Abuja on Friday, Egbetokun mentioned efforts should be made to handle the basis explanation for the issue which he mentioned stemmed from the household.

The Government Director and Founding father of the Centre for Household Peace, Chinedum Ikogwe, mentioned the challenge was born out of the necessity to deal with the challenges of crime and criminality amongst juveniles.
Ikogwe blamed the rising crime price amongst juveniles on the failure of oldsters to dedicate time to the upbringing of their wards.
