GAZA: One Israeli male hostage was killed by his guard and two ladies captives have been severely wounded in two separate incidents in Gaza, the spokesperson for Hamas’ armed al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaida, stated on Monday (Aug 12).
Abu Ubaida blamed the incident on what he described as Israeli “massacres” towards Palestinians.
“The enemy authorities [Israel] bears full accountability for these massacres and the ensuing reactions that have an effect on the lives of Zionist prisoners,” Abu Ubaida stated in an announcement posted on Telegram.
He stated a committee has been shaped to research, and findings shall be introduced later, including efforts are underway to avoid wasting the 2 wounded hostages.
It was the primary time Al-Qassam has stated its guards killed hostages. The group has usually attributed earlier killings of hostages to Israeli bombardment.
