A lawyer, Mike Ofikwu, has been shot lifeless by gunmen in Otukpo city, Benue State.
The incident reportedly occurred on Wednesday evening at his residence on Otukpa Road, Otukpo.
A supply near the deceased, who spoke on situation of anonymity, disclosed that the lawyer was ambushed by two armed males whereas ready for his gate to be opened.
“Two armed males had laid an ambush for him. As he was ready for his folks to open the gate, the assailants emerged from hiding and shot him at an in depth vary,” the supply stated.
