Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya, on Thursday, donated meals objects to corps members deployed to the state for the 2024 Batch ‘C’ stream I orientation course at Amada short-term orientation camp, the Akko Native Authorities Space of the state.
The objects donated embody three bulls, 30 luggage of rice, 10 jerricans of palm oil, 10 jerricans of vegetable oil, 10 luggage of sugar, eight luggage of beans and 5 cartons of maggi cubes.
Disclosing this to our correspondent, the Data Officer, Workplace of the Secretary to the State Authorities Joshua Danmalam, stated the gesture was an indication of the governor’s dedication to supporting the event and well-being of younger Nigerians within the state.
He stated, “The donation will little doubt have a optimistic impression on the lives of corps members, enabling them to deal with their nationwide service.
“The governor’s help for the NYSC programme is an indication of his administration’s priorities, which embody youth improvement and empowerment.
“By offering these important assets, the governor has succeeded in making a conducive atmosphere for corps members to thrive and make a significant contribution to the state.
“Whereas receiving the objects, the State Coordinator, Chinwe Nwachuku, who was visibly excited, expressed her deepest gratitude to the governor for his benevolence.”
