The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday, stated the Lagos State Employment Belief Fund created 221,000 jobs since its inception.
The governor spoke on the Lagos Employment Summit organised by the Belief Fund.
In a press release on his X deal with, he stated, “I spoke on our journey towards sustainable job creation and financial progress in Lagos State.
“Over the previous 12 months, we’ve made vital strides in enhancing the employment panorama. Our unemployment charge has seen vital optimistic change, thanks to numerous initiatives and insurance policies geared toward creating jobs and empowering our youth.”
He stated the LSETF was a key ingredient of the federal government’s job creation technique.
“Since its inception, the fund has generated over 221,000 direct and oblique jobs, facilitated greater than 83,000 access-to-market alternatives, and educated over 18,000 younger individuals in industry-relevant abilities.
