A herbalist recognized as Ismail Usman has sustained a life-threatening damage whereas testing a self-made ‘bulletproof’ appeal.
The incident occurred on the
Kuchibuyi village within the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on November 23.
Usman was stated to have picked a domestically fabricated gun after he had fortified himself with the appeal he had ready and shot himself within the abdomen.
Sadly, the appeal failed to guard him, leaving him severely injured.
Confirming this in a press release on Saturday, the FCT police command spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, stated the police obtained a misery name from a resident on the incident.
She stated officers from the Byazhin Division arrived on the scene and rushed Usman to Kubwa Common Hospital.
Adeh added that as a result of severity of his accidents, he was later transferred to Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital, the place docs are working tirelessly to avoid wasting his life.
She stated, “A misery name from Shandam Michael reported a stunning occasion involving Ismail Usman, an area herbalist identified for his unconventional strategies. In a misguided try to check the effectiveness of a self-made ‘bulletproof’ appeal, Usman shot himself within the abdomen with a shotgun.
“Sadly, the appeal failed to guard him, leading to life-threatening accidents. Officers from the Byazhin Division responded swiftly, arriving on the scene to seek out Usman in crucial situation. He was rapidly transported to Kubwa Common Hospital for emergency remedy and later transferred to Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital for additional care.

Adeh stated Usman would face costs for illegal possession of firearms and tried suicide, which violates Part 231 of the Penal Code Regulation of Northern Nigeria.
She stated, “Investigations are ongoing, and Usman is anticipated to face costs for illegal possession of firearms and tried suicide beneath Part 231 of the Penal Code Regulation of Northern Nigeria.
“Commissioner of Police FCT, CP Olatunji Disu, condemned the incident, highlighting the hazards related to unlawful firearms.”
