Day 7 of my Autumn New England Street Journey (with a toddler) began the day by driving by way of Smuggler’s Notch—it’s a brief and tremendous windy drive by way of a mountain cross that’s critically stunning.

We then spent the complete day exploring nature trails and hanging with animals at @trappfamilylodge, an Austrian-inspired mountain lodge with 300 acres of farmland in the midst of Stowe.
The Von Trapps, made well-known from the film The Sound of Music, fled Austria throughout WWII and in the end landed in Stowe, VT the place their hospitality lives on right now. Do you know the Sound of Music is among the high 10 highest-grossing movies of all time??

We did handle to catch a glimpse of the famed Stowe Neighborhood Church from afar, however any nearer meant combating site visitors and big crowds.
