The late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who represented Anambra South Senatorial District, has been laid to relaxation in his hometown of Otolo Nnewi in Anambra State.
Ubah, re-elected to the tenth Senate beneath the Younger Progressives Get together, died in London on July 27.
Sharing photographs from the funeral, Anambra State Governor, Charles Soludo, paid tribute, saying, “In the present day, I used to be in Nnewi to pay my final respect to the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.
“He was greater than a senator. He was a youthful brother and a pal, at all times brimming with life and enthusiasm.
“His premature departure serves as a robust reminder of life’s fleeting nature.
“Might his mild soul relaxation in peace.”
The funeral drew quite a few dignitaries, together with the Labour Get together presidential candidate; Peter Obi; Senator Orji Uzor Kalu of Abia North; former Senate President Bukola Saraki; and Senator Victor Umeh of Anambra Central, amongst others.
