The second School Soccer Playoff rankings for the 2024 season had been revealed on Tuesday evening and featured some huge adjustments.
Probably the most distinguished of these adjustments was the Georgia Bulldogs dropping from the No. 3 rating (and No. 2 seed) all the best way all the way down to the No. 12 rating and being the primary crew out of the playoff discipline. That may be a results of their loss to Ole Miss on Saturday, which is already the Bulldogs’ second lack of the season.
SMU within the No. 14 spot could be the second crew out.
With Georgia dropping down the rankings, which means any individual else needed to transfer up right into a top-four seed — and potential first-round bye — and that was the Texas Longhorns, who went from the No. 5 rating as much as No. 3, and the second total seed within the bracket.
Miami (No. 9), BYU (No. 6) and Oregon (No. 1) all stay within the top-four seeds.
