The Nationwide Company for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Individuals, Kano Zonal Command, has acquired 10 rescued victims of human trafficking.
The company’s zonal commander, Mr Abdullahi Babale, mentioned this on Thursday in Kano whereas receiving the victims from the state police command.
In response to him, the victims have been rescued on December 7 at about 2.40 p.m. in a home situated at Rijiyar Lemu Quarters in Kano by a crew of policemen led by CSP Bala Shuaibu.
Babale, who mentioned the rescued victims, aged between 22 and 42, comprising six females and 4 males, defined, “They have been on their option to Libya for labour exploitation.
“The rescued victims are from Delta, Edo, Osun, Ogun, and Lagos states.”
The zonal commander counseled the Kano State Commissioner of Police, Mr Salman Dogo-Garba, for his help and cooperation in direction of rescuing the victims.
